sorry to be late to get back on this, I am willing to share the information with anyone interested in aibo for sure, and we can get some feedback from that. so excited for ROSCon in Madrid. BTW, the extension for ros_comm using Unix Domain Socket is available under https://github.com/fujitatomoya/ros_comm/tree/topic-kinetic-devel-uds-support . we understand the current code is not suitable for merge into the mainline, but we’d like to know if anyone is interested on this feature. if any request, we can adjust the code for sure and we are willing to do that.
