The Role

You are part of a navigation team and contribute to software for our next-generation autonomous transport system.


Role Responsibilities

  • You will be developing, implementing and evaluating new concepts and optimizing current solutions for motion planning algorithms, enviromnent representation behavior planning

  • Therefore, you will be implementing high quality software using modern C++ and Python

  • As a part of our agile team, you will make extensive use of our collaborative platform that supports communication accross the multidisciplinary team.


Personal Requirements

Degree in software or electrical engineering, computer science or similar qualification

  • Solid mathematical foundation for planning algorithms as well as passion for innovative research

  • Ideally, several years of professional experience

  • Passion for C++ programming; Python experience is advantageous

  • Linux experience is required; ROS experience is appreciated

  • Strong communication skills, willingness to take responsibility and focus on results

  • A systematic way of working is a matter of course for you. This includes handling of VCS like Git.

  • Fluent English, adequate level of German required (at least B2 with will for further qualification)
