Hello everyone,
I am glad to announce the return of Eurobot Open to La Roche-sur-Yon, France, from May 17 to 20, 2023!
Eurobot Open is among Europe’s largest international gatherings of engineering students, drawing over 300 participating teams from more than 15 countries with participants between 4 to 30 years of age. The competition, held in conjunction with the French Robotics Cup , serves as an engaging platform for teams worldwide to exhibit their robotics skills, learn, and share knowledge on a range of topics, including robot programming with ROS and ROS 2.
The competition challenges teams to perform a variety of agility tasks on a 2m x 3m surface, during 100 seconds matches that opposes robots from two teams. The objective is to collect the most points while avoiding collisions with the opponent, as any contact can result in disqualification.
This year’s competition theme, “The Cherry on the Cake,” is a special tribute to the 25th anniversary of the contest, with the robots tasked to bake cakes!
Although team registration for 2023 has already closed, everyone is welcome to attend the event either in person or through the live webcast on YouTube!

Thank you, and we are excited to share with you some thrilling robotic action at Eurobot Open 2023, whether you choose to attend virtually or in person!
