Plans for ROS 2 Documentation, particularly API docs?

I did get a little stuck on the install problem, which I mentioned in my previous reply. Do you know what the current recommendation is for pip install in ros generally? This issue is the disabling of user installs in python in Ubuntu noble, see for example @tfoote’s https://github.com/ros-infrastructure/rosdoc2/pull/96 as some of the issues.

I assume the recommendation is use a venv?

@rkent I don’t have a definitive answer for you at this time, but I am going to check in with the infrastructure team on Monday morning to figure out what we’re currently doing on the build farm and what our plans are going forward with Noble. I’ll get back to you with an answer after we meet.
