We have multiple openings within our Manufacturing Robotics & Technologies Department here at Southwest Research Institute. We support the open source project ROS-Industrial, and work to develop and deploy novel and diverse advanced robotics applications in a wide variety of domains.

We are looking for expertise around machine vision, control, motion planning, perception, as well as system integration.

If you have a passion for diversity in the work, engaging with the open source community, and attempting to bring open source to a field where proprietary solutions dominate, this is a great opportunity.

The location is in San Antonio, Texas, and it is preferred that the candidate come to work at our site to foster optimal collaboration. Must be US Citizen.

We can, though to date it has been limited to Austin, but we are happy to chat about it. Do require US Citizen and located at min within the US.
