I do agree with @tfoote here. Currently we have a reasonable size community at the aerial robotics interest group but not so big that I would say that it would be enough to have enough attendence for an AI x Aerial Robotics ROS interest group,. However, an AI powered Robotics interest group, yes for sure, and perhaps those interested in AIxAerial can commute between both groups for the overlap 
. Just my two cents here, but quite happy that you are bringing this to our attention.
