Arm adopts ROS2 CycloneDDS for its Autonomous solution

Arm is planning to use ROS2 Foxy and Eclipse CycloneDDS with iceoryx as one of the open source reference middlewares in its ‘Journey to Autonomous’ initiative and has joined Eclipse Foundation to support and contribute to Eclipse CycloneDDS with iceoryx ROS middleware. ROS2/Cyclone DDS feeds into Autoware which will be the open source reference autonomous stack, Arm is already part of AWF and contributing on various fronts. Arm intends to use these open source reference implementations to widely enable and accelerate advanced autonomous software development.
