Hey ROS2 community!
Who we are: Dockware is a team of ex SpaceX and Waymo engineers with backgrounds in controls, optimization and perception.
Every day, millions of shipments move through systems that are still fundamentally manual, we’re building the intelligence layer that changes everything. At Dockware we are developing robotics and algorithms that passively capture shipment data and drive the workflow integrations that separate the cool tech from truly useful products.
After kicking off multiple pilots with large logistics companies and closing a pre-seed funding round, we’re off to the races!
Our robotics MVP is shaping up really well but we need more firepower to kick this into higher gear.
Who we’re looking for:
- Professional ROS2 guidance (senior level) - Someone with experience using ROS2 as a professionalized product. Provide technical guidance on our software stack and help set up for scaling to fleet operations.
- Embedded software development (mid-senior) - Someone to roll up their sleeves and build with us to get our systems running reliably and fast
- NOTE: this could be the same combined role and could be contractor or full-time. Startups are nothing if not flexible.
What you’ll be building: Real-time motor control systems, computer vision pipelines, 3D point cloud processing, orchestration software, and the mapping/optimization algorithms that make autonomous logistics possible.
We want engineers who care about solving hard problems, have deep technical curiosity, and can balance execution speed with precision. If you’re ready to apply your engineering excellence to transform how the world moves goods, we want to talk.
