How to use Veloview under Ubuntu through commands

Hi, everyone,
I’m a new member here, also I’m new to the software Veloview, which is used to show lidar points. I can install and use it in Ubuntu just the same way as in Windows. But now I want to control it through commands including opening and saving files, etc. Does anyone know how to realize this?
