Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network - PhD positions for multi-robot systems with ROS

Hi!

The RAICAM EU project (specifically a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action - Doctoral Network) is looking for 10 PhD students to work with ROS and multi-robot systems in topics ranging from human-robot interaction to multi-robot active perception.

Project website: http://raicam.eu/

The positions offer very competitive salaries. Successful candidates will be employed on a 36 month contract with a salary of approx. 3,400 euros per month gross*; plus 600 euros mobility allowance and (if applicable) 660 euros family allowance. In our research group in Finland (TIERS - https://tiers.utu.fi) the salary will be over 4000 euros + 600 euros of mobility fee / month. In addition to the 36 months paid by the EU, the university ensures at least 12 more months of employment.

This is a great opportunity as the project plan already includes many secondments and visits to the other 9 research groups involved, as well as experiments with companies and in (decommissioned) nuclear sites. There are also multiple training events in different countries over the length of the project, from the integration of ROS 2 to funding proposal preparations and business development / entrepreneurship.

Applications are done through the project website.
