PAL Robotics offers the availability of one PhD Fellowship (Theme 12): https://www.neutouch.eu/research-themes/research-theme-12
This research theme addresses the touch sensing technology applied to Grasping and Manipulation. The PhD student will be supervised and hosted at the PAL Robotics facilities in Barcelona, Spain, with the possibility to use directly the PAL Robotics robots (100% ROS) to apply the research results. The PhD enrollment will be given by the Bielefeld University.
In case anybody is interested, applications shall be filled on-line at https://neutouch.eu/openings/application where you can find also the conditions that follow the guidelines of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
15 PhD Fellowships are available, in the scope of the European research project NeuTouch funded by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions European Training Networks (ETN) action of the European Union Horizon 2020 (H2020) program, under grant agreement No 813713.
NeuTouch addresses the development of touch sensing technology for robotics and prosthetics, grounded on biological touch perception.
NeuTouch students will conduct their research and training across different universities, research centres and industries across Europe, to develop a strong background and an effective research network.
