Postdoctoral Position in Persistent Mapping and Long-Term Autonomy for Intralogistics

The Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems is seeking outstanding candidates for a postdoctoral Research Fellow position in Persistent Mapping and Long-Term Autonomy for Mobile Robots in intralogistics applications.

The successful candidate will be expected to design and conduct original research, and to collaborate with project partners including four universities and five companies in four different countries. She or he will have strong interest and/or experience in relevant research areas such as long-term autonomy for mobile robots, persistent mapping and self-localisation, 3d perception and environment modelling, and systems integration (ROS, C++, Point Cloud Library). The Centre provides a friendly, international environment in a brand new building (from April 2017), in a beautiful and safe historic small city. Opportunities to co-supervise PhD students in the project team will also be available to interested candidates.
