Hello everyone,

I am here to announce the the first launch meeting of the ROS 2 Production Working Group this week on January 10, 7AM PT (UTC-8).

In this first meeting, the current agenda is as follows:

  • Discuss and overview logistics & governance (e.g. charter, project management, leadership/membership, minutes, posts, meeting time)
  • Poll recommendations (if any) to change WG name from ROS2 Production
  • Strategy Brainstorming / Discussion of upcoming tasks/ideas
  • ROS2 Jazzy Priorities

@bpwilcox If you decide you want to record the meetings, particularly if/when you have a speaker, just let me know and I can put the video up on the “official” OSRF Vimeo account and share it on social media.
