ROS-Industrial Consortium Americas Community Meeting - Dec 8

We are happy to announce a ROS-I Americas Community meeting (2020-12-08T16:00:00Z2020-12-08T17:30:00Z) that will bring together a number of our members and partners to share some recent developments and hopefully foster some collaboration around a few topics of interest.

Agenda to include:

  • Human Inclusive Robotics - Lou Amadio, Microsoft
  • A ROS-based Open Industrial Manipulator – Daniel Rogge, Tormach
  • Latest Developments for Surface Finishing Applications - Max Falcone, PushCorp
  • A Proposal for a Reference ROS2 Hardware Interface Implementation – Jeremy Adams, Object Computing

What timezone are the times on the website in?

It states:

Tuesday, December 8, 2020, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

but is that CST or something else?

Nice catch. These are Central Standard US time, i.e. Chicago.

Updated the event listing with speaker bios! Don’t forget to register!

Reminds me a bit of HRIM and H-ROS.

I got the presentations up. Videos hopefully up by mid-next week.

@adamsj have you checked out HRIM or H-ROS… those do seem to have some parallels.
