This year’s World MoveIt Day Hackathon is coming up on June 2nd and we invite everyone to join and spend the day improving MoveIt with us.

World MoveIt Day is an international hackathon to improve the MoveIt code base, documentation, and community. We hope to close as many pull requests and issues as possible and explore new areas of features and improvements for the now ten(!) year old framework. Beginners are welcome to join us to review the tutorials and get immediate help when needed. This year, the focus will be on improvements to MoveIt 2.

This year we have again prepared a small list of WMD tracks that where people can group up and collaborate. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to MoveIt or still unsure what to work on, simply pick a track by leaving a thumbs-up or comment and we’ll meet up on WMD on SpatialChat to work together:
