We’re excited to announce that World MoveIt Day 2023 is just around the corner! This year marks the 7th annual event celebrating the incredible MoveIt open-source software, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary since the inception of MoveIt.
World MoveIt Day is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and showcase the most advanced technologies in robotics. It’s a global event that brings together developers, roboticists, and enthusiasts to share ideas, collaborate, and have some fun.
This year’s hackathon competition promises to be especially thrilling, featuring cutting-edge technologies such as Machine Learning (ML) and the newly-released Python Bindings for MoveIt. With generous sponsorship from Elephant Robotics and PickNik Robotics, the event will offer fantastic prizes for participants.
The first prize is an Elephant Robotics 6DOF robot arm, second prize is a Valve Steam Deck, and third prize is an Intel RealSense camera! Plus, all participants will receive a free WMD2023 t-shirt.
