We’re a growing team working on a very cool application of robotics in the fitness/wellness space, looking for two stellar new team members who are passionate about working with robotics to join us in NYC. You’ll work with a phenomenal group of people on a product with enormous potential to positively impact people’s lives, all while interacting with a rich set of modern technologies that push the state of the art.
The web developer role:
If this job is for you, you’ll have ownership over a suite of applications for user interaction with our robots across multiple devices and touch points. In its current, prototypical state, one of the central applications has rich user interface elements and sophisticated visualizations with near real-time status and control. Day to day, you will work with our engineers, architects, and designers to envision and implement a multi-platform architecture that will be central to how the world experiences our robots. This is a core team role that will require expert software development and outstanding interpretation of requirements into a functional and robust system.
We have a Node.js platform based on Meteor that targets web and iOS/Cordova utilizing ReactJS components. The backend server manages data from a real-time vision system, 3D models that are visualized in the UI in WebGL, with command and control orchestrated by ROS. We are looking for a full-stack web developer that can take this functional prototype to a feature complete production application.

The DevOps role:
This is an awesome job for someone passionate about the intersection of robotics and systems internals. You’ll work on a host of core systems as we complete our prototype then help us build the infrastructure to bring our product to market.
Day to day, you will be focused on ensuring our production systems’ stability while also working to improve and automate our existing development infrastructure. Our prototype itself has several embedded computers that rely upon ROS and other frameworks, and more broadly we have a set of distributed systems that need to be well-managed and coordinated. We leverage multiple cloud platforms and orchestration/management environments, build against robust build management/CI tools, deploy in containers, and work with a growing set of ROS-related analysis and management tools.
You’d be a pivotal part of this team and would help us to build and grow the architecture that sets the direction for the future of the business.
