Multi-arm path planning role for a health/fitness tech startup in NYC

Greetings,

I run a well-funded robotics company in NYC building a fully-autonomous product for significantly improving quality of life, and am looking to add a senior/lead engineer to the team with a background in planning multiple concurrent manipulators. We’re backed by tier-one venture capitalists as well as prominent names in robotics and professional sports, and are going after a large market with a tremendous amount of potential.

Day to day, you’ll help us build core software components that are at the heart of our product and will work with a stellar team along the way. You will be responsible for robot motion planning in a dynamic and safety critical environment. This includes curated mission planning based on human input and external sensors, motion path generation and simulation for high DoF systems, and real-time adjustments. You’ll also get to use a product that will delight you and the people for whom you will build it.

Here’s the full job spec:

We’d prefer to locate this position in NYC, but are open to the right candidate anywhere in the world.
