Immediate need for ROS 1 with Yocto embedded Linux experience

Hello- we are in immediate need of a ROS 1 (Indigo, Melodic) programmer, with potential ROS2 migration need. MUST be highly familiar with Yocto embedded Linux, as well as Python 2 and 3, and have familiarity with the differences to allow for migration from one to the other, and building the Yocto image. Ideally also capable of bare metal for developing firmware. Current need is for NXP Kinetis K21.

Company is 6 years old, started as grass roots, ground up, and now into government contracts. Still a late phase start-up, with options for shares possible. Large contracts on the horizon for which we are already in the phase 1 or 2 contracts. Application is currently military and search and rescue diver focused, as well as autonomous buoy systems. Product expansion planned into larger robotics realm. Expansion potential for role to VP Engineering or CTO for the right candidate with company expansion, .

Two current contracts - Navy and Coast Guard- with immediate needs.
