Meeting #3 - Hardware Interfaces WG and homework/prepping for meeting #4

Today was the HW Interfaces WG Meeting #3

Thanks to all those that came. The meeting minutes may be found here: HW Interface Working Group Minutes-initiated 031822 - Google Docs

A number of existing specifications were shared and discussed which may offer semantic definition guidance. A robust discussion was held around how far to take the notion of enabling interoperability and enabling efficient driver creation. Sub-topics also were noted, such as tying into safety and possibly additional working groups.

The minutes doc now as a section for suggestion on Agenda items for meeting #4, slated for April 28, as well a section for adding of additional specifications that may be of interest in particular where semantics and/or information models are defined.

Thanks and looking forward to the continued discussion!

Hello All! The minutes are updated and you can click on the link on the first post on this thread. Note some new standards as well as a couple draft REP and some recent revised REPs to maybe consider as both baselines, or ones that may offer complimenting approaches.

Great discussion today and thank you!
