In discussion with @christophebedard , we would like to be granted maintainer access to osrf/dynamic_message_introspection.
I was one of the original commenters when this support was released in 2021: ROS 2 type support introspection and conversion of C/C++ messages to/from YAML
Although this package was originally written as a prototype, I’ve found it useful and adopted it to convert ROS data into YAML, using C++. It meets my needs as-is.
I have one goal:
- Release binaries to humble and jazzy to reduce our CI build times
Given there aren’t active maintainers, would @gbiggs be open to adding to achieve this goal.
