Position: Robotics Engineer: Motion Planning and Navigation
Your future responsibilities will be:
- Design and implement vehicle control algorithms
- Improve our motion planning and navigation algorithms, based on customer feedback
- Follow research in motion planning and control, apply latest results to improve our product
- Contribute and upstream our developments to ROS
- Test and support commisioning the robots at our customers
- Opportunity to expand into simulation, perception and more further on
This is your background:
- Solid mathematical foundation for planning algorithms
- Experience with motion planning and control systems
- Hands-on experience with ROS / ROS2
- Strong Python and/or C/C++ skills
- Personal initiative, structured way of working and creativity
- Strong communication skills, willingness to take responsibility and focus on results
- You are a goodteam player and convince with your friendly and empathetic manner
- Education: Completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
