ROS on iRobot's Root Robot

Most ROS (Robotic Operating Software) users will learn this system through simulation, because typical robots that operate on ROS come with a heavy price. Learning robot programming through simulation is useful, but having a physical robot that you can use to deploy code to and watch it move around or perform an action would be more helpful.

This project was created in the hopes that this little mobile robot called Root Robot (that costs as little as $200) can serve as an introductory tool on learning ROS for students in higher-education institutions.
