ROS Summer School
After all the Covid restrictions in 2020 and 2021, we are happy to be able to hold a ROS Summer School in Aachen again. Starting the 15th August and ending with a competition on the 26th of August, we offer again a unique experience to learn ROS from scratch or deepen your intermediate ROS knowledge with a lot of seminars, workshops and – of course – practical coding. The teaching material was all updated to ROS2 during our break in order to teach the newest ROS versions using the latest packages like e.g. Nav2 to guide our TurtleBots through the arena. Sorry for being a little late with the announcement, but we hope that again many ROS enthusiasts will participate in the ROS Summer School!!! No boring online education – hands on robots ;)!

18th August | Hardware interfaces, transformations in ROS2
19th August | Introduction to GAZEBO simulator, April tag recognition
22th August | Localisation & mapping
23th August | Path planning
24th August | Industrial exhibition
25th August | Exam, free hacking
26th August | Free hacking, competition, farewell BBQ
