Something if off about the discourse logo

I always thought the ROS ‘O’ on discourse looks slightly narrow. Now I know why:

Here you see in blue the original ROS logo and in orange the ros discourse logo.

Looks like the whole thing has been slightly squashed, rather than it being a problem with just the O.

I think it is just getting smushed to fit in the discourse logo box. I would need to check if there is a prescribed DPI and resolution.
