Achieving Bidirectional X-Y Movement Without Turning Robot in Open-RMF (#696)

Hii,
I am working on a project where I need my robot to move freely along the X and Y axes without requiring it to turn. Essentially, I am looking for omnidirectional movement.Will multiple plugins work?

Can the slotcar plugin be modified to allow X-Y bidirectional movement?

If not, are there any alternative plugins or configurations that support such movement within Open-RMF?

Are there any workarounds or suggestions to implement this functionality while maintaining compatibility with Open-RMF’s fleet adapter?

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.
