Note that the time has changed it is now moved to 4 pm UTC which is a bit more convenient for our US west-coasters but let us know if this is troublesome for you. The time on the calendar hasn’t been updated yet but I will do that asap.

  • Terrain navigation binaries being released
  • Common testing environment setup/ docker formats
  • Common simulation environments or setups
  • Simulation subcommittee base goals

So as of a list of todos for each subcommittee as what I could compile from the meeting notes:

  • Simulation: define more precies goals for the subcommittee → Check if providing a standard set of environments would be a good one?
  • Outdoor navigation: Getting help for the geo-map binary release and getting testers for the Ardupilot non-linear planner application (see the list of PRs down here)
  • Indoor navigation: Determining a standard environment + simulation for people to work on. (maybe we should send out a poll)
  • Documentation: Continue to work on the website + work on an outreach campaign for more contributions

This will be a presentation about Terrain Navigation package by @Jaeyoung-Lim which allows low altitude navigation for fixed wing vehicles in steep terrains.
