We are happy to announce the availability of two iron-based ROS 2 robot controller examples provided for the IROS 2023 wrestling competition in which 20 teams are currently competing against each other.
These two examples rely on the brand new Vulcanexus ROS 2 iron-simulation docker image.
The first example, Alice, is a very simple and friendly controller waving the hand of the NAO robot.
The second example, Bob, is a bit more aggressive as it makes the robot walk towards its opponent.
You can watch them at work in the leader board of the competition (press the corresponding View button).
We are looking forward to see more ROS-based entries in the competition: you are welcome to join
