New Course - Basic Arm Kinematics

Hi ROS Developers!

Just wanted to share a new course created by The Construct: Basic Arm Kinematics. This course provides you with the concepts and tools that will enable you to understand how the motion of a manipulator works.

This course will take about 30 hours to complete. Since it’s an intermediate level course, you should be well versed in the basics of Python, Linux, and ROS before you start.

Course description

Arm Kinematics is the cornerstone of robot manipulation, as it can later be expanded upon with the addition of external sensors in other courses.

In this introduction, you’ll be using the Clarkson Manipulator and UR3. You’ll learn some basic concepts needed in order to know how to deal with a manipulator robot, and how to compute both the Forward Kinematics and Inverse Kinematics of a manipulator robot.
