For those who don’t want to / can’t use Ubuntu Mate with their Raspberry Pi ROS project, I created an image preloaded with ROS and OpenCV 3.3.1 installed.
Roscore is automatically started at bootup via systemctl (so you don’t even need to log in to start master).
You can find the image through the blog post we put up regarding the disk image - please give us a Medium “clap” or two or 10 to help spread the word!
BTW - this is (small) progress towards a budget ROS robot that I’m designing - aka ROSbots. I’m looking for people who want to collaborate so feel free to reach out!
