In this 1-day workshop, Justin Woo and I will give you a fast introduction to programming with ROS 1 (or ROS 2, depending on interest) and the UR5 arm. No prior experience is necessary, except for some basic programming concepts like for-loops etc. Students will be able to schedule time after the workshop for exclusive access to the arm. These will be 1-on-1 sessions for testing and practice: just the instructor, 1 student, and a UR5.
