I’m a bit late to this party, but we are working on making MoveIt easier to use with ML tooling. The primary things we are doing to support this is to add Python bindings and test and document MoveIt use with simulation environments (Isaac sim and Gazebo).
We feel pretty out of our depth about what would be most helpful for us to integrate with ML tools. To address this, our upcoming hack-a-thon World MoveIt Day focuses on engaging with people who want to experiment with these tools and give us feedback.

Join the workshop by Raúl Sánchez, Software Engineer at eProsima, covering AML-IP node programming using Python API for distributed inference scenarios. Attendees will witness real-time image inference, where a robot at the edge captures images, sends them to the cloud for inference using a pre-loaded ML model, and receives the results back to actuate based on the result. This workshop empowers participants to leverage the potential of AML-IP for building intelligent distributed systems.
