The Embodied AI Community Group dedicated to the topic of applications of Generative AI to ROS 2 robotics will have a second meeting on 11 Dec 16:00 UTC (8:00 am PST).
Our first meeting last month was attended by 28 people, and the group member count has increased by about +50% since. It is wonderful to see so many people interested and passionate about embodied AI for ROS 2!
Last time, we presented RAI and ROSA AI Agent frameworks, led by Robotec.ai and NASA JPL respectively. This time, we will review some of the most important recent work, focus on contribution to the AI Agent framework project, and host a presentation by Chris Paxton of Hello Robot Inc, who will talk about his recently released, exciting open-source embodied AI project: GitHub - hello-robot/stretch_ai.
