On 2024-07-17T22:00:00Z NXP will be hosting the next local ROS Netherlands meetup in Eindhoven during RoboCup 2024!
This is a perfect chance to connect with ROS enthusiasts, tackle complex robotics challenges, and gain insights from expert presentations. Plus, all attendees get free tickets to the RoboCup event!

Event details

  • Date: Thursday, July 18, 2024
  • Time: 14:45 → 18:30
  • Location: Robocup Eventroom @ Fontys Sport en Bewegen (Theo Koomenlaan 3, Eindhoven)
  • Language: English
  • There will be pizzas and drinks! (vegeterian pizzas will be included as well)
  • Commuting:
    • Direct public transport bus is available from Eindhoven Central Station.
    • Free parking spots near the building if you come by car (please consider carpooling)

  • 14:45 – 15:00 Walk-in
  • 15:00 – 15:05 Introduction by NXP
  • 15:05 – 15:30 Joost Böhm on ROS usage in the NXP sensor car
  • 15:30 – 16:00 Christine Fraser Boer on the cloud-based robotics development platform, simulation, and code deployment to the NXP B3RB
  • 16:00 – 17:30 Lightning talks
  • 17:30 – 18:30 Pizza dinner and networking

Ah leuk! Ik ben er dan ook in Nederland weer maar ik moet even kijken hoe ik het kan combineren met de Robotics Science & systems conferentie in Delft in diezelfde week. Hope dat het me lukt om er bij te zijn!

Vond het al jammer dat RSS en robocup precies in dezelfde week zijn georganiseert…

Update: er zijn trein werkzaamheden rondom Delft die week dus ik ben bang dat dat te lastig wordt zonder auto. Veel plezier en hopelijk lukt het me een andere keer!

You can combine the Dutch ROS User group meetup with a visit to RoboCup. So if you are in The Netherlands at the event, why not come alone to the ROS Netherlands meetup too.

Hi Christine,

Can you still change the post? Your first line refers to July 17th, instead of July 18th.

And 1 other thing: The remarks on not finding the event when using Google are still valid. Do you have any suggestions for improvement?
