Slam Engineer - Early-Stage Swiss Startup

We are an early-stage Swiss startup, developing highly agile robots for security and safety monitoring of industrial sites (

Among our first key hires, we are looking for a SLAM engineer with strong practical experience.

Your role:

  • Contribute to the improvement and extension of the current software stack
  • Implement and improve third-party solutions
  • Design custom algorithms for SLAM, navigation, and anomaly detection
  • Perform on-robot testing and benchmarking of the implemented solutions
  • Debug, maintain, and document

Required skills:

  • Extensive C++ programming skills
  • Practical experience of SLAM algorithms
  • Strong experience with ROS as well as with PCL, Eigen, Boost libraries
  • Knowledge of robotics sensors (Lidar, IMU, 3D camera)
  • Familiarity with hardware selection and testing
