We are an early-stage Swiss startup, developing highly agile robots for security and safety monitoring of industrial sites (www.rovenso.com)
Among our first key hires, we are looking for a SLAM engineer with strong practical experience.
Your role:
- Contribute to the improvement and extension of the current software stack
- Implement and improve third-party solutions
- Design custom algorithms for SLAM, navigation, and anomaly detection
- Perform on-robot testing and benchmarking of the implemented solutions
- Debug, maintain, and document
Required skills:
- Extensive C++ programming skills
- Practical experience of SLAM algorithms
- Strong experience with ROS as well as with PCL, Eigen, Boost libraries
- Knowledge of robotics sensors (Lidar, IMU, 3D camera)
- Familiarity with hardware selection and testing
