Navigation Engineer - Rovenso - Switzerland

ROVENSO is an EPFL startup, developing agile robots for security and safety monitoring of industrial sites.

Robotics Navigation Engineer
Starting date: As soon as possible
Location: Lausanne Area, Switzerland

Your role:
• Contribute to the improvement and extension of the current software stack
• Design custom algorithms for SLAM, navigation and anomaly detection
• Perform on-robot testing and benchmarking of the implemented solutions
• Debug, maintain, and document

Your required skills:
• 2+ years of experience implementing SLAM and navigation algorithms on a product, or PhD in a strictly related field
• Strong practical experience of sensor fusion (Lidar, IMU, 3D camera)
• Proficiency in C++ and dedication to clean, tested code
• Solid knowledge of ROS
• Familiarity with hardware selection and testing
• Excellent teamwork/communication skills
