I am really excited that things are starting to get back to normal here in the US and I can’t wait to see everyone in person at ROSCon Kyoto this year. Registration for ROSCon is now open. You can register on the website, and early registration is open until 2022-08-16T03:59:00Z. Full registration prices and dates are available on the registration website. I have also updated the list of hotels of venue hotels along with a note about Japanese visas. We should have additional visa information published in the next couple of weeks.
The acceptance / rejection letters for ROSCon speakers went out this morning, so if you applied to speak, check your in-box. There were a ton of great talk applications, and it is rather unfortunate that we couldn’t accept all of them. If you were accepted, be on the look out for additional information from our planning committee. If your talk wasn’t accepted, don’t despair, there are plenty of places to show off your work, including right here on ROS Discourse and in a ROSCon lightning talk. ROSCon Lightning Talks are first-come, first-serve, at the event itself (meaning we can’t guarantee you a spot). We should have the full ROSCon schedule posted by the end of the week.
The generous support of our sponsors makes ROSCon possible; and I am happy to announce that we have closed our first batch of sponsors. We had an overwhelming demonstration of support from the community for ROSCon Kyoto and we’ve already sold out of booth space for the event. However, if you are interested in sponsoring ROSCon there are still some sponsorship options available. You can find all the details in the ROSCon 2022 prospectus, or by simply e-mailing us at email@example.com.
Now, without further ado, here are your ROSCon 2022 sponsors!
