Using ROS robots to map glaciers in the French Alps

As a member of the Computational Robotics Design and Fabrication Lab at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), PhD student Max Polzin specializes in designing robots to traverse extreme environments like boreal forests, mountainous slopes or polar glaciers.

For the latest interview on the Foxglove blog, we sat down with Max to see how he’s leveraged Foxglove Studio to help his ROS robots map glacial moulins in the French Alps.
