rosbag2 wasn’t working for my recording needs, so I started experimenting with RTI’s Recording Service. From first impressions it seems to work pretty well. That said, the only guide on how to use it (from RTI) is way out of date (i.e. RTI has changed how they do things) and the documentation for the Recording Service, while helpful, isn’t really geared towards the ROS audience and had a mistake in it that I’ve since contacted RTI about and they’ve said they will be correcting it.
