I’m just starting to get my head around micro-ROS and have ordered a Renesas RA6M5 dev board to play with. I notice that it supports FreeRTOS but not Zephyr. Renesas don’t seem to support Zephyr on any of their dev kits. Would it be fair to assume this is unlikely to change anytime soon?

The roadmap of RA family MCUs relies on Renesas strategy.
According to the Product brief the target applications of this MCUs family are: Service robot for Logistics, defense & security, agriculture and healthcare. And for that RA family is targeting FreeRTOS , ThreadX and Bare metal.
