Hey ROS,
I just got a Sparkfun GPS-RTK board and we’re hoping to make a GPS-following model car as a weekend project some friends.
We’re thinking that the car will probably be operating at fairly slow speeds (think 10 km/h max), but want the GPS following to be fairly reliable. The idea is that we’ll record some GPS waypoints with the car, and then play it back so that it autonomously navigates the path.
Any advice on what we should look into using for controller and localization nodes / packages that are already out there?
