There are a lot to speak about on flying ROS with ArduPilot and flying ROS generally.

So I will try to showcase how it works and some cool usage with ArduPilot !

And open discussion how we can improve ROS 2 support both in writing code and give people the right information at the right place (not an easy task)

Ping!

And also to indicate that the agenda has been updated. I’ve removed the round table part to make more room for the discussion at the end. But at the announcements feel free at the end to share any project you are working on or have seen passing by. Just have a link and short sentence description ready once we ask around.

See the first message for all the meeting and agenda information.

Thanks for the recording @Katherine_Scott !

I also have the slides and notes of last week’s meeting here:

I’ve spent special attention to write out the discussion part about how to handle ROS 2 support for Aerial Vehicles and the complexity of it. I want to do a bit of investigation of how many support channels are there, and make a separate ROS Discourse thread to continue the discussion since I think there is more to add here.

The next meeting will be Thursday the 17th of April, 5 pm UTC, which I’ll announce a week ahead. See you then!
