ARIAC 2022 Launch Teleconference

Hi Everyone,

The team at NIST asked if would share the following information about the 2022 ARIAC competition. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the event, it is a yearly simulation competition where participants compete to build solutions for a variety of industrial automation problems. The kickoff teleconference for this year’s event will be held on 2022-02-02T22:30:00Z. Please reach out to NIST directly if you require additional information. Full details are below.

The NIST Team is working on Agile Robotics for Industrial Automation Competition (ARIAC) 2022 and our Launch Telecon will be taking place on Wednesday 02 February 2022 starting at 11:30 am EST (1630 UTC). Connection details are as follows:

The Agenda will cover Background on NIST and the ARIAC Competition, Changes for this year’s Competition, a Demonstration of the Environment, Where to Find the Latest ARIAC Info, and time for Q&A.

The Competition this year will be taking place in a very similar environment as last year, but with some changes. We’ll be adding in a human element as well as tweaking some of the sensors. For full details, please make sure to come to the Launch Telecon.
