Last week, we had our second meeting of Embodied AI Community Group, which included state and research updates, on-boarding and contributing guideline, a presentation on Stretch AI project and another one on how to run embodied AI with ROS and simulation in the cloud. It feels great to be a part of such a vibrant community!
This time, we also recorded the call. If you missed it, check the link among meeting notes and presentations in our document ROS Embodied AI Working Group - Google Docs.
We are now moving to a regular time slot, same as our last meeting. Calls will now happen each month on every second Wednesday, 16:00 UTC (8:00 am PST), which means the next one is on January 8.
If you building an AI agent project with ROS 2, perhaps it would make best sense to build is as a part of our long-term initiatives such as our AI agent frameworks? You are welcome to join the group, contribute to open-source embodied AI, and to present your work to the community. Join us through our landing page ROS Embodied AI Community Group · GitHub.
