Hi, I am new to this field of robotics and have had very less experience practically. Currently I am looking for freelancing opportunities in the field of robotics. It would be of really great help if someone could suggest me a place to find out freelancing projects related to robotics. I couldn’t find any such projects on the internet or I might have searched the wrong place. I don’t know. please help and thank you!

That said, I was already working in the field for 4 years when I started my consulting journey and I was quite narrowly specialized in drones and mobile robots. If you don’t have any experience in robotics I think it might be very difficult for you to find clients, as most of the clients will look for people with hands on experience.

I’m just starting out as a freelancer (www.linkedin.com/in/victorpaleologue), and I’m helped by the networked I built as an employee and as a PhD student.
It looks hard to start without a network, and I would suggest you get in touch with the communities you want to work with. I try to go to their Slack instances, exhibitions, follow their publications, get in touch directly with authors and stakeholders.
Also contributions to open source projects are a great way to help, get experience, showcase your skills, and actually weave a piece of network. That usually gives me something to show to prospects who would like to learn more about what we could do together.
