Micro-Ros with Micropython

Before I jump into aa rabbit hole, I wanted to ask if there was any current work of incorporating Micropython with Micro-ROS ?

If not, why ? Would it be a mem / compute power thing ?

I would target the ESP32 series parts, like the WRover-B which has much more RAM / FLASH

Hello @gentijo, we do not have plans for supporting MicroPython in our roadmap. But definitely, it sounds super interesting.

Iā€™m not an expert but I guess that creating an abstraction layer with MicroPython on top of the C99 micro-ROS API should be possible.

Please keep us updated about your progress if you tackle this project.
