Infrastructure Community Meeting 2023-07-26

Hello everyone,

The OSRF Project Committee for Infrastructure is holding our next community meeting at 2023-07-26T15:00:00Z.

This meeting will have the following agenda, featuring @claraberendsen presenting on recent work profiling ROS 2 CI builds by correlating Jenkins logs with logs from glances and a short update from @nuclearsandwich (myself) on upcoming work required to bring Rust packaging support to ROS infrastructure.

Due to some technical issues with accessing Meet urls created using the openrobotics.org workspace, I’ve had to create an alternative Meet url:

I’m in the process of updating the url everywhere I can. If you are waiting to be let in, you are probably in the wrong place!

The Community meeting also ended five minutes early due time limits set as a result of using a personal Google account to create it. The recording will be available in the next couple of days.

Thanks @Katherine_Scott! The recording (and meeting) ends very abruptly due to time limitations with Google Meet. I did not quite finish answering @DLu’s question and have a discourse post in my drafts to finish the answer.

Thanks everyone who was able to join and participate. Our next community meeting will be in October September.

Edit: The next community meeting will, in fact, be in September. I accidentally leapfrogged August.
