Although you might have already read the good news in the ROS 2 Humble Hawksbill release post here in ROS Discourse, we are also celebrating the micro-ROS Humble release!
This new micro-ROS version allows you to continue with the seamless integration of microcontrollers into ROS 2, even adding new features and improvements, such as:
- framework overall performance improvement (less memory-hungry, more reliable, more multi-thread capable and real-time ready)
- new RCLC characteristics
- new support for various boards: RENESAS RA Family, TI Tiva™ C Series,
- new support for numerous platforms: Platforms.IO, ST STMCube, Microsoft Azure RTOS, Espressif ESP-IDF
- new embeddedRTPS experimental RMW
- Micro XRCE-DDS v2.1.1
