Hi everyone!
We’ve recently been working on improving our tutorials on micro-ROS and it is time to share it
As you know, micro-ROS bridges the gap between low-mid range MCUs and larger processors in robotic applications that are based on ROS 2. Which is being increasingly adopted by the community and by industrial applications.
We work on facilitating micro-ROS adoption. The new updated section “Programming with RCL and RCLC” is designed for fairly beginner-level. It guides ROS 2 developers through a smooth easy adoption of micro-ROS:
- Overview
- Nodes
- Publishers and subscribers
- Services
- Parameter server
- Executor and timers
- Quality of service
- micro-ROS utilities
A great way to contribute to this open source project and also to learn more is to post and answer issues that move the community. Official platforms are:
- ROS Discourse (in category “embedded”)
- ROS Answers (tag with “embedded”)
- micro-ROS Slack Channel ← Join micro-ROS on slack here
