Last meeting I presented a preliminary proposal for how to select the default middleware implementation now and in the future using the middleware working group and the TSC. This was mostly to get the ball rolling and generate discussion. After discussing it in the meeting and off-line, @gerkey and I have update the proposal and @gerkey will be presenting it at the next meeting on this coming Wednesday (see https://index.ros.org/doc/ros2/Governance/#upcoming-ros-events). Anyone who is interested in this topic, please attend the meeting and/or continue the discussion on the proposal document:
